Highvac Vacuum Poppet/Angle Valve are designed for long cycle life. They are suitable for industrial applications because of their design. The inlet and outlet ports are aligned to make installation and removal simple during maintenance. They are offered in stainless steel and steel bodies; other types of metal are available upon request. A Buna® or Viton® O-ring seal is located under the poppet plate which seal the valve via a pneumatic actuator pushing the poppet shaft downwards to create a vacuum tight seal on the lower flange. Highvac poppet valves are designed for uninterrupted flow towards the system with maximum conductance when the poppet is open. The poppet shaft is attached to the poppet plate with a single pin, which allows for guaranteed vacuum seal each cycle and also make maintenance simple. Highvac offers poppet valves in a wide range of sizes and configurations. They are designed to be operated pneumatically and manually with ISO and ASA flange end connections are standard. Poppet Valve Features
• 304 sst with bead blast finish or painted outside mild steel construction
• Valve does not seal the hard way
• Specially designed shaft sealing with removable cartridge that holds 4 shaft seals
• Shaft seal can be changed without removing the bonnet flange.
• Just pull poppet pin and remove 4 bolts
• 50,000 cycles until first maintenance.
